Yes. That is why it is said that “Dhamma will protect and guide those who abide by Dhamma”.
– To “abide by Dhamma” one needs to understand it.
If one starts TRULY COMPREHSNDING Dhamma (i.e., Tilakkhana or the unfruitfulness of this world or the First Noble Truth on suffering), then that is the beginning of the Noble Path.
– Then one is guaranteed to get to the Sotapanna phala moment.
