Seng Kiat and I have replaced the “Welcome Bar” on top of each page announcing a new or significantly revised post.

Once using that link, you can close it when it pops up again by clicking on the “X” at the end of the bar. That will stop it from re-appearing.
– It will again show up when another post is announced.
