In this video a dog’s head was connected to a blood pipeline that revived it’s brain. The dog head is reacting to the sound, lights, taste, etc.

So what’s exactly happening here from the Dhamma Perspective?

Did the dog got actually revived ? Then what was the role of Gandhabba of the dog?

It is likely that the movements in the “dog’s face” are just nerve impulses. An analogy is a plant turning to sunlight.

      • There cannot be any “thoughts” arising because the hadaya vatthu (seat of the mind) is not in the head (at least in humans).

I will also add that the video is likely a reenactment of the actual experiment:

The legitimacy of the film is controversial, with some commentators suggesting it is a recreation of the actual experiments, which were more modest. According to some scientists who claimed to have seen the experiments in the film, the severed dog head only survived for a few minutes when attached to the artificial heart, as opposed to the hours claimed in the film.
