AniduanParticipant
This is super helpful. Thanks Lal.
AniduanParticipantHi AxelSnaxel,
You mentioned “We even have a small group for monthly Skype sermons with Amadassana Thero himself.”
Just want to check with you if the skype sermons with the Venerable Amadassana Thero are still being conducted.
AniduanParticipantThank you, Lal.
AniduanParticipantThank you Lal. I guess I need to be patient and just keep learning dhamma and make progress. I will read the The Five Aggregates again from the start step by step.

AniduanParticipantHi y not,
How can I join the live session?
AniduanParticipant“We should not make judgments based on just the title without listening first.”
My apologies. I should have listened fully instead of portions and making judgements.
I actually started listening to all of his English Desanas on the YouTube channel. They are really good.
AniduanParticipantThanks y not. I listened again, it doesn’t seem like a traditional breath meditation taught by other Buddhist traditions. I stand corrected.
AniduanParticipantIs Dharmayai Obai monastery associated with Waharaka Thero?
AniduanParticipantFollow up question on this old post:
Let’s assume a sotapanna dies without grasping paticca samauppada (I picked PS because it seems it’s one of the most important teachings of Buddha) and has not attained any ariya jhanas, how does that person pickup where he/she left off? How does the person get access to dhamma after rebirth? Will he/she be born in a society/family who are ariyas to continue the learning?
AniduanParticipantHi Lal,
Thanks for the youtube link, it’s a good desana. When I googled Chaminda Tennakoon I didn’t find any info like websites and stuff related to him. Do you have more info on this person?
Thanks.
AniduanParticipantThank you everyone for your guidance. Much appreciated.
Lal wrote: “Fear and sadness are associated with births in the lower realms.”
The lower realms are only apayas or does it include human realm? When a person reaches sotapanna does the sadness go away, meaning can a sotapanna be depressed?January 27, 2019 at 8:19 pm in reply to: Post on "Buddhism and Evolution – Aggañña Sutta (DN 27)" #21640AniduanParticipantHi Lal,
Is the Pali version of Aggañña Sutta at Sutta Central an original reliable source?(link).
When I search of some words like “Cakkavāla”, “antakkappa” I couldn’t find them or maybe I am not searching them properly. So I am just curious what source you use as a reference for the original Pali versions of suttas.
Thanks.
AniduanParticipantThank you everyone. All the tips you have suggested helps me immensely.
AniduanParticipantThank you Mr.Lal.
I read all the links your provided and the sub-links in each dhamma article. As far as I understood, the conditions were right for my kamma beeja to sprout. Some of the kamma vipaka are avoidable but most of them are not. All the situations I encountered are due to my past bad kamma and by reacting to them I am creating more kamma beeja.
It’s now very easy for me to forgive them as it’s ME and NOT them that are responsible for the incidents. I am back to feeling niramisa sukha. I guess I just need to keep working patiently and diligently.
I think I came across this website due to some good kamma in the past. Big thanks to Mr.Lal for presenting pure dhamma.
Thanks.
