Participanthello venerable sir lal. My question is, “does the number of teeth present in mouth relates/indicates the ability/inability to attain (within same lifetime) the 4 stages of ariyas (sotapanna, sakadagami, anagami, arahant)”?
Also, the fact is that generally there are 32 teeth in our mouth but in my case it is 31 because of my utter stupidity and foolishness I extracted the wisdom tooth which was erupting at the age of 20 years, because it was very painful due to its abrupt position. I always regret that decision. I feel I should have tolerated that pain (now I feel that when I tried to run from pain it just multiplied so better to bear upcoming sufferings as they are without trying to suppress them forcefully). After that I became free of that pain but now I see that I have 31 teeth in my mouth with 2 upper wisdom teeth not yet erupted although tooth buds are present so they will erupt after some time. Right now I am 29 years old and many many times I found that I have realized many things late like I always felt that ‘if I had understood this earlier..then I would have been in better place..’. My understanding now is that one becomes sotapanna when one goes beyond these 31 realms of existence and then returns back to this body. So if the teeth has any relation to being able to attain ariya magga-phala in this very life then I am someone who really messed up, although I will make sure I will see my last breath (atleast I am aiming for that now, don’t know if I will be able to or not) but I wish I realise the fruit of atleast stream-entry before dying because I don’t know what karma I will take hold of after death. If there is no relation between two things then no worries for me. I am asking this out of fear of suffering because I am confident that I am not sotapanna yet. :(
If the answer is affirmative and indeed there is relation, then is there solution in order to get the lost wisdom faster/earlier as in like ‘do not wait till tomorrow and act now regarding …’ (solution)?
Can you please answer me lal sir? Whatever you answer I won’t question it because I have faith in your words. If this is trivial then please forgive me kindly. Thank you for your valuable time.

KeymasterOne’s number of teeth has absolutely nothing to do with the ability to attain a magga phala.
- Buddha’s teachings are focused on the mind, not the physical body.

Thank you for the reply sir. So I am also capable of attaining magga-phala within this same lifetime. It’s a relief. I understood now. 🙏🙏🙏
