Some information on the events being planned
I would just like to share two teachers trained under Jethavanarama Monastery is going on a USA & Canada tour in January 2026. Whether one follow’s or however one takes Jethavanarama teachings or want to be at the event at all. I believe it can be a good idea and a meritorious deed for one to personally give alms to the monks (putting food in their bowls). One can also do a merit transfer at that time. My parents and wife don’t follow the Buddha teachings or might be even interested in the event, but I’m still going to try suggest to them at least give alms to the monks and they choose to leave after.
If anyone is planning on going to the Canada event, I might be able to help with getting others to where’s needed for the events. Surprisingly, I sort of live near the places where the Canada events is being held.
