Hello everyone, I created this section to share the links of the meditation meetings that some members of the forum and I have with Venerable Deegoda Dhamadassi Thero. 

Bhante is from Waharaka Temple, but he lives with about ten monks in the Sathipattana Retreat Center in Sri Lanka. It is a branch of the Waharaka Temple. He is the direct student of the abbot of Waharaka Temple Most Venerable Dimbulkumbure  Uditharathanalankara Thero. Bhante give us a guided meditation online and how to cultivate the necessary conditions to attain a jhāna (he focuses more on the ariya jhāna), the noble wisdom and Nibbāna in the long run. Almost every week I will share the link for the guided meditation here. The meetings are on Zoom. Many thanks and merits to the Korean members of the Puredhamma forum, especially Mr Hojan, for organizing these meetings and recording each meditation session on his YouTube Channel. 🙏🏿🪷🌸

Recently, with the support of many devotees, the Sathipattana Retreat Center has expanded to accommodate more laypeople who come to practice Jhanas and Vipassana meditation. A forum member has visited this monastery, and it would be wonderful to visit it someday, even if only for a short meditation retreat.

Would you happen to know what sutta is exactly being recited? I cant see anything that references it.

Which part of the session are you referring to, my friend? Bhante is chanting some Pali chants.
