Trying to gain additional knowledge of other possible meanings for the prefix “Du” in dukkha. A search and what I can gather mentions as “badness, wrong, difficult, ill, burn, torment”.

In the Sinhalese language is there any pronounced words similar to “du” and has similar or different meanings? If there, what are some of these other meanings?

Recently I watched a sermon where a teacher taught the kkha in dukkha as “kaya” which has the meaning of as a body / collection / aggregation and more information that I left out. Contemplating on this teaching and during the process, I thought of what if kha in dukkha could actually mean “khandha” Dukkhandha? Similar meaning as the teacher but another word for collection / body / aggregation and can be a collection / aggregation of “du” such as “sokaparidevadukkhadomanassupāyāsā” and other detrimental conditions. Thought of khandha can also be related to Pañca Upādānakkhandhā.
