I recommend the books of Venerable Mingun Sayadaw for example great chronicles of the Buddhas, Nyanaponika Thera and other Theravada monks. If for example, you want to know in more detail about the different male and female arahants and how they were able to reach Nibbāna I suggest you read the Theragatha, the Therigatha (For women) and the Buddhavamsa (Great chronicle of the Buddhas).
