    Greetings! SengKiat,

I have tried to compare the new map with old map and have found corrections in pañcakKhanda section and some content update/changes. Thank you for that.

Only thing is since this last map on 29May2022 I have added 50+ new nodes to MindMap. So, I will have to copy all the corrections to new MindMap which I will do and publish updated version.

Anyways, since you have reviewed the MindMap, how did you found the content?

I have working on it. It is no way as exhaustive as website. But just a good reference point in my opinion.

Anyways, thanks for this review SengKiat!

Those who are viewing/have viewed the map can comment their suggestions/changes/review in comments below.

Also, if someone wants lastest editable file you can contact me in this thread.

Edit; I am also adding SengKiat’s name to contributors in map. Thanks for your efforts SengKiat.

My point in referring to article was that modern life cannot be sustained and future human life will have much suffering in form of dukkha dukkha then present modern life. obviously I have learned from you lal, that suffering buddha referred to was future suffering. and I do realize the suffering of 4 lower realms.

I Have belief that world is not to our liking. It is fair by laws of kamma. everyone gets what they deserve, yet it is obviously not to liking.

There is no problem in experiencing sensory pleasures. The problem is to ATTACH TO such sensory pleasures and to engage in activities that will prolong the rebirth process.

I know yet, whenever I experience any sense pleasure, I am always afraid of its consequences and I am afraid to attach to them. I have understood how cravings keeps us in 31 realms.

although sensual pleasures directly do not creates suffering, when they are experienced, there is chance that we might attach to them. I am afraid of such attachment.

Do I have correct understanding, lal?

    Lal. thanks for quick reply.

    so basically, you recommend,

    – four NOBLE RIGHT efforts
    – contemplations of drawbacks of sensual pleasures

also, further question for you, Lal.

what is minimum amount of dhamma topics one needs to know in order to steadily keep progressing on lokottara path? (Is knowing basics of tillakhana, eighfold path, four truth, paticca samuppada (with basic details) enough?)

AND also, you have mentioned that stream enterer has seen how to reach the nibbana, right?
    what do you mean here?

    1. your website, have tried to understand some suttas, have heard almost all desanas of wharkara thero.

    2. I had partial insight into tilakkhana, insight that “no actions in this world can give satisfaction to my liking” is present in me. I have heard desanas. have pondered over true meanings of tilakkhana. so, yeah I think it is highly likely that i have achieved stream entry. main reason that I want to achieve anāgāmi stage because, I want to get rid of coarse suffering that exists in human realm. (I know with book knowledge that all are filled with suffering of either change or of fabrication, but, at least realms above humans have much less suffering and are suitable for pondering dhamma and also long age.)

    3. sotappana has only gotten rid of wrong views and anagami has gotten rid of kama raga and patigha additionally, hence not subject to being born in any kamma loka in addition to apaya.

what other practices I am doing?
meditating on death, shortcoming of sensual pleasures, foulness,, reflecting on anicca nature of all objects of this world

    edit: grammar and minor edit.
