At the time of taking precepts, many people like to recite the supreme qualities of the “Three Jewels” (Tiratana, where “ti” is three, and “ratana” is “jewel”; pronounced “thirathana”), i.e., the Buddha, Dhamma, and Saṅgha. Vandana means chanting with reverence.
I will write posts in the future describing these qualities. For now, only the Pāli text is given in the document below.
