• The “Cakkavatti Sutta (DN 26)” describes the coming of the Buddha Metteyya. 
• So, Maitreya is indeed the “Sanskritized” word.

Also, “Siddhartha” could be Sanskrit for “Siddhattha.” I will look into it later.
