      Cuti and Marana – Related to Bhava and Jāti

      In #8 is a reference to some sutta in SN 56. There the asura realm is not mentioned, only hell, animal, peta realm. Any idea why?

      Also the five destinations in Gati Sutta (AN 9.68) do not show asura realm.

      Good question. I have wondered about that too.

      It is possible that “asura gati” are lumped together with “animal gati.”

      If anyone has other possible explanations, please post.
